Pakihi Hut

Pakihi Hut is managed by the Department of Conservation (DOC). Use is "first come first served" with no pre-booking. The hut charge is $5 per person per night.

For a true back-country wilderness experience, this is special. The hut also makes a handy lunch stop on your ride or walk as there's a large covered verandah area. Don't ride past, check it out.

The hut has a fireplace. There's no power. Bring your own food. Please respect other users and take out all your rubbish.
