Welcome to Motu Trails Ltd, ideally located at 138 St John Street Opotiki, a two-minute stroll to Opotiki's main street, and very close to the start of the Dunes Trail.

Please note, Motu Trails Limited is not taking shuttles into early-2023. You are welcome to contact for reopening details or bookings.

We welcome riders, trampers and other groups. Leave your vehicle in our secure parking area, hire one of our extensive range of bikes, and hit the trails. Or take our shuttle bus to your preferred starting point.

We shuttle beyond the Motu Trails. Consider us for social club events to Rotorua, Whakatane, Tauranga or afar. Or come to us for assisted bike trips, where we follow along to carry your bags, with pick ups/put downs for those who want to rest from time to time. We will even capture some of the magic moments for you on camera!

Choose from a great range of well-maintained bikes: mountain bikes, road bikes, comfort bikes, children's bikes. We also offer tag-a-longs, baby carriers, tandems and retro cruisers.
