At Motu Community House we offer you a welcoming place to stay near the southern end of the Motu Trails. Whether you’re planning to ride on the next day, or you’re basing yourself in Motu for more than one night, there’s all you need here, at a really affordable price.

The Community House is the refurbished Motu village post office, so it’s part of the area’s history. There’s a large kitchen/dining/lounge area, complete with wood-burner. This makes a warm and comfortable place to relax as a group after your ride.

We provide you with all basic amenities, including clean sheets and bedding, and all you need for cooking/dining (oven, microwave, fridge, cutlery, etc). There’s also on-site parking and secure bike storage.

The Community House sleeps up to 10. There are three bedrooms, with a combination of single beds and bunks.

We can arrange shuttle/gear transport up from Opotiki, and we're always ready to share ideas on what you could do. When you’re planning, please, just ask us!
