DOC's Whitikau Campsite

If you are biking Motu Road or Otipi road, the Department of Conservation's Whitikau Forks campsite may appeal. This is a remote backcountry campsite, at the entrance to Raukumara Conservation Park.

Camping is free and no booking is required.

The camping area is 11km down Takaputaki road. Turn off the Motu Road at Toatoa.
