Choose from Bushaven's range of accommodation including a five bedroom house, the Love Shack, bunkhouse, small batches, and a small camp ground, all with full utilities, decks and BBQs. Total 38 beds and eight camp sites.

Bushaven is the ultimate in genuine outdoor experiences. Set in native forest within the Urutawa Forest Reserve and alongside the pristine Te Waiti stream, yet only 25 minutes from sunny Opotiki or 30 minutes to the beach.

You'll find several walking, tramping and mountain biking tracks right on our doorstep. Take a gentle stroll or ride up Te Waiti Track, or branch off to a side track for a bit of a challenge.

Relax in our pristine, mountain-fed waterholes of mixed depths, check out the glow worms one minute up the track. Take one of our guided tours for something really special. And at the end of the day, sit back and enjoy a drink and barbie while you listen to the calls of native birds — often including kiwi.
